Shot of the Scene
A smorgasbord of sports bar entertainment, Jillian's is filled with dozens of beautiful felt-green pool tables. There are also video games, air-hockey, darts and a Ping-Pong table or two. Despite all the distractions, the space is roomy and relaxed—not crowded. A sizeable loft space offers plenty of non-smoking tables and another bar.
The Munchies
Jillian's burgers are solid. Too big for the bun and accompanied by oversized spicy fries, they make an excellent pre- or post-billiard meal. You can have food brought out to your pool table (!) and munch as you wait for your friends to rack 'em up.
The Chaser
The bar is no longer open until 3am on Saturday—last call is instead usually around 1:30am.

This Place is Pretty Cool

Hey, I really like this place. They have nice pool tables. The felt is so smooth, so nice...I can still feel it. They take such nice care of the felt... I've never felt anything so nice. They must brush it every night. Sometimes I wish I had a nice pool table. So i could take care of the felt. Felt is such an important thing. I wish more people took better care of their felt. |

I know what you mean. The felt was a very nice quality. I'm thinking import, from Bangladesh. I don't think they've ever used cleaner on it, because you can still tell the condition of the felt is very close to original. I must tell the felt-society about this.. |
